Why stocks belong next to the funds
A family that holds ₹20 lakh of stocks in two demat accounts and ₹2 crore of mutual funds does not have two problems; it has one net worth and one set of goals. Keeping stocks in a separate app means the family email, the goal planner and the retirement buckets all miss them. Here the stock holdings are one more tab under the investment account they live in.
How to import
- Download your holdings: in Zerodha Console, Groww, Upstox or any broker there is an export to Excel/CSV; or download the monthly CDSL or NSDL consolidated statement that covers every demat account.
- Open Stocks → Import, pick the member and the investment account, and upload the file. A sample Excel with the expected columns (symbol, quantity, average price) is linked on the page.
- Check the preview (symbol, quantity, average cost) and confirm. Holdings for the same account are updated, not duplicated.
- Add a few shares by hand with Add stock when you buy between imports.
What you see
Quantity, average price, current price, invested, current value, profit and percentage.
Which demat account holds what, mapped to the bank it pays into.
Stocks count in the dashboard's asset allocation, the net worth, and the daily family email.
Stocks can be included in the money for goals like any other investment.
Prices
Stock prices are refreshed with the daily update in your own Google account, alongside mutual fund NAVs and the gold rate, so the value on the dashboard and in the morning email is current.
What it is not
It is a holdings tracker, not a trading app. There is no order placement, no intraday feed and no broker API. For traders that is a limitation; for a family record, it is the point: nothing in the app can move your money.
In the family picture
Stocks, funds, gold, property and loans, added up for the whole family.

Every member, every account, revalued daily. Gold by weight, the house with its loan, insurance with nominees.

Frequently asked questions
Which brokers are supported?
Any broker that exports holdings to Excel or CSV (Zerodha, Groww, Upstox, Angel One, ICICI Direct and others), plus CDSL and NSDL consolidated statements that cover every demat account.
Does it connect to my demat account?
No. You upload a file; the app never logs in to a broker or depository.
Are stock prices live?
They are refreshed daily by the update that runs in your Google account, which is enough for a family net worth. It is not an intraday terminal.
Can I track ESOPs or unlisted shares?
Add them under Other Investments with a value you update yourself.
Will the family email show my stocks?
Yes, each member's stock holdings and their value appear in that member's section of the daily email.
